Dr. Seni is an enthusiastic math educator who turned down lucrative banking and corporate positions to pursue his true calling: teaching.
He acknowledges that today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders, a conviction fortified during his time as a volunteer teacher when a student urgently sought his help under the sun. This moment established his teaching philosophy that learning happens everywhere and genuine curiosity should never be hindered. He firmly believes every student can learn mathematics, annihilating the phrase “I’m not a math person” from his vocabulary.
Math becomes magic the moment a child realizes they can figure thing out on their own.
– Dr. Seni
Through years of experience, he invented the CCDC Framework (Contexts, Concepts Development, Drills, & Challenging Problems) to instruct students toward true mastery rather than mere memorization. Beyond the classroom, he plans to launch the Saturday Math Compass newsletter and runs parentmathguide.com to help parents support their children’s math journeys.
His devotion includes multiple representations in mathematics, which allows for various learning styles. Outside of teaching, he enjoys football, volunteering and listening music. He also focuses on helping high school students enhance life skills like productivity and emotional well-being. His mission is to convert how parents and their children perceive mathematics, seeing it as an thinking and problem-solving tool.
